London Road Croydon

Getting ready for the consultation event tomorrow at Croydon Voluntary Action, 82 London Road CR0 2TB. The discussion will be based around the new web portal for London Road launching in spring 2015. We are working with Croydon Council and the GLA on a website aimed at celebrating the different cultures, backgrounds and traditions of the people living and working in the area. The website want to be a resourceful tool for the community of London Road at large, to help increase footfall, attract visitors and help business thrive.

Twin posters for the double launch of Heritage and Renewal in Doha, Urban Pamphleteer #4!
The London launch was at UCL Central House last week and the launch in Doha took place earlier in November. It was very interesting to hear Clare Melhuish and some of the contributors to the publication talking about their work and research in Doha. Website finally up with most of the projects. We spent lots of time working on it and it feels good to look the majority of the work from the past years online. Thanks to Joe for the coding and patiently making sure everything functions, and to Paola who created most of the imagery populating the pages.

The Hackney Circle is a scheme for over-60s living in Hackey, launching today at the Dalston CLR James Library from 3 – 5pm, a nine-week programme of free events to introduce new members to businesses and services in and around Dalston Square.
